Job Title: Warehouse Attendant

Department: Warehouse 

Reporting to: Warehouse Supervisor 

Working Hours: 8:00am – 4:00pm; Monday – Friday

Location: Fernandes Business Centre

 

JOB SUMMARY

 

Responsible for performing all aspects of warehouse functions safely and efficiently while providing exceptional customer service in a timely manner to meet customer needs. 

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

​

• When necessary, assist the drivers during deliveries to customers/suppliers and cheque deliveries and collections

• Pulling of items as instructed by the pull sheet

• Packing of items onto shelves

• Packing of goods for dispatch as guided by the customer’s specifications

• Ensure packing specifications are accurately labelled and match job bags

• Ensure that the Warehouse and goods are kept and stored in a safe, orderly, and neat manner at all times

• Load and unload goods on vehicles for ease of delivery and minimal damages

• Cleaning of items and assisting Quality Control as needed

• Assist in all stock counts, monthly, annually, and as needed. This may involve staying back after the allotted time to ensure 100 % accuracy of the count

• Any other duties as assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor and/or Operations Manager

 

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES

​

• 5 CXC Levels subjects would be preferred

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a Distribution Centre/Warehouse

• Forklift experience would be an asset
